What Coral Domes are

The Coral Dome is the defining structure of the Coral Gardens biome — a colony of coral polyps that absorbs CO₂ from the water and expels quartz nodes as a byproduct. You see them everywhere within a 200m radius of your Lifepod, at depths of 0-50m. They cannot move, do not take damage from your tools, and harvesting one yields Coral Shavings without killing the structure.
